Our Dept. Blog: An Introduction

Here it is, folks--the brainchild of LuAnn, our very own department blog.

Its purpose is to further enable our collaboration and provide another forum for professional discussion other than the lunch room. (not that I don't love talking or ranting about my classes at lunch)

One preliminary item for discussion would be our blog's title and associated quotes. Let me know what you think. Ideas for better titles or quotes are welcome. Also, if there are any adamant protestations about the color scheme, font size, or layout elements, these could be discussed as well.

I suggest we respond to each other in the "comments" section of each post. To comment on a post, you have to log in to blogspot.com. I think you only have to log in once. You can follow the instructions on my first email (sent out Friday the 9th) and log in with Justin's school email.

This blog site gives us another option of adding multiple authors to the same blog. Its a relatively painless process where you get an invitation email that prompts you to associate one of your existing email address with a "Google Account". Then you log in with that email, and the blog will recognize your identity when you post. (You can also create a new email account that you'll probably never use that will serve as your login to this blog.) Just let me know and I'll send you that invitation email.
